Found September 07, 2013 on Throw The Flag:
Tensions flew on the sidelines of the South Carolina – Georgia game after Georgia and some USC coaches started yelling at each other then fighting. They had to be physically separated. You can’t hear what they are saying but it doesn’t sound pleasant. I don’t even know what they were arguing about. They actually held Georgia to a 3 and out right before their altercation and they are defensive assistant coaches. They were seen later on talking normally. I’m sure Steve Spurrier will put a stop to it fast.

Jadeveon Clowney says offenses are running plays away from him

I am going to ask Clowney to use his brain for a minute. If I am running an offense, why would I run plays toward the most disruptive player on defense, that would be stupid. Clowney better get use to it and figure out a way to make an impact while being the center of attention from offenses. Clowney said it's becoming increasingly frustrating to make plays with offenses going...

Gamecocks defensive star Jadeveon Clowney is already considered a superhero in the state of South Carolina. So it only makes sense that he’ll be repping an Under Armour Batman shirt beneath his jersey today. The school’s Twitter account just sent out a photo of Clowney’s locker ahead of the Gamecocks’ matchup with Georgia. Time to get ready! #Gamecocks pic.twitter.com/NtCIcBBjRB...

Jadeveon Clowney's First Sack of the 2013 College Football Season

Fans had to wait till the second game of the season, but it finally happened--South Carolina bad *ss Jadeveon Clowney sacked the quarterback. Yeah, so it wasn't a bone crunching hit like the one he laid on that poor Michigan running back last season, but they can't all be like that.  The real question may be whether the team may need to shut...

South Carolina assistant coaches get in altercation on sideline

The South Carolina Gamecocks were in a tie ball game with the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, but something was apparently not going right.  These two assistant coaches got into a physical altercation on the sideline and had to be separated by two other coaches.  I’m not sure what was wrong, but clearly they were in a serious disagreement. Spurrier, South Carolina upended by rival Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. When it was all over, Steve Spurrier walked purposefully into the northeast tunnel of Sanford Stadium past an oversized flag, a crazed student section, a band playing "Glory, Glory" at a decibel level far past comfortable and a mascot dancing for all the wrong reasons fresh off his first loss to Georgia since 2009. Spurrier's near-trudge was one of the...

We have to hand it to the guys at Denver Downs Farm — this is one of the most impressive corn mazes that we’ve come across. Steve Spurrier Says His Gamecock Team Isn’t Very Good Right Now

Will the real Gamecock defense please stand up? Coming off a loss to Clemson, Georgia had to face the Gamecocks and what some believed was one of the best defenses in college football lead by Jadeveon Clowney, and the Bulldogs made it look easy, shredding the South Carolina defense for 536 total yards. Needless to say head coach Steve Spurrier was not happy with the performance....

Georgia vs. South Carolina: 3 Bold Predictions

Steve Spurrier is as honest as the day is long. He will be the first one to tell you, he has his own issues and history with the Georgia Bulldogs.Even dating back to 1965 and 1966, there are certain things about playing Georgia as a player in the 1960s to coaching against them in the 1980s, 1990s and even now that gives him pause and reflection. Now as the head coach of the South...

Richt is top Dawg over Spurrier

The game just ended, and four hours earlier, Georgia coach Mark Richt was a loser. Aaron Murray couldn't win the big one. Steve Spurrier was a genius, with a real chance at a run for another national championship. Jadeveon Clowney was the best player in the country. Until this: Georgia 41, South Carolina 30. And Spurrier was ripping his assistants, and some of his assistants...
