Found October 27, 2012 on Throw The Flag:
Marcus Lattimore suffered one of the most devastating injuries I’ve ever seen in a college football game. He hurt his other knee in 2011 and returned in 2012 just to have his other knee sustain a terrible injury. We refuse to take a graphic or a picture of the injury out of respect for Marcus Lattimore and his family. That was a gruesome gruesome injury. The one bright spot in all of this was the sportsmanship shown by both the South Carolina Gamecocks and also their opponent, the Tennessee Volunteers. They all gathered around Marcus to support him. Throw The Flag and I’m sure other college football fans wish Marcus Lattimore the best in his return. We hope his career is not over because he is a good person and one of the best running backs we’ve ever seen. Our thoughts go out to Marcus and his family who was on the field. Things don’t look good. Hopefully he can overcome this adversity and return with a vengeance.
