TEAMS:
No. 1 Alabama at Missouri
I wonder if Missouri is tired of “old-man football” yet? Missouri has to wait at least another week to get their first SEC win.
Alabama 38 – Missouri 10

No. 3 South Carolina at No. 9 LSU
Look for Zach Mettenberger to have his coming out party. If he doesn’t then LSU goes down again. Ultimately, I think LSU gets a few more big plays this week.
LSU 24 – USC 14

No. 4 Florida at Vanderbilt
Oddly enough, the Gators have played Vanderbilt better on the road than at home. The Gators surprise season keeps rolling through Nashville as Vanderbilt has trouble stopping the run, once again. Vanderbilt will score in the fourth quarter, though. Bank on it.
Florida 31- Vanderbilt 17

No. 5 West Virginia at Texas Tech
My gut tells me that Texas Tech will pull off another miracle reminiscent of last year against Oklahoma, but I think the Mountaineers will score a little too much. This one is close until the third quarter.
West Virginia 56 – Texas Tech 24

No. 6 Kansas State at Iowa State
No upset here. Kansas State is on a mission to set up a showdown with West Virginia. Collin Klein carries his team once again and does what some teams have had trouble with this year: winning conference road games.
Kansas State 42 – Iowa State 20

No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 17 Stanford
This will be upset number one. If you missed how I feel about Notre Dame this year, view it HERE. Stanford is too physical and will wear the Irish down. No luck needed.
Stanford 24 – Notre Dame 20

No. 8 Ohio State at Indiana
This Ohio State team is pretty good, and will be even better in a year or two. Let’s be honest, it’s Indiana and this isn’t basketball.
Ohio State 41 – Indiana 13

No. 10 Oregon State at BYU
Here’s your second upset, folks. Neither of these teams has been that impressive outside of the Beaver’s win over a disappointing Wisconsin team. BYU has a chance to run the table the rest of the year, in my opinion.
BYU 34 – Oregon State 10

No. 11 Southern Cal at Washington
Southern Cal struggles early, but pulls away late in this one as Keith Price does everything he can.
USC 35 – Washington 21

No. 12 Florida State vs. Boston College
This is going to be one pissed off Florida State team. Everything was set up for them to make a run at the title and then they blow it. Sound familiar? With BC’s only win coming against Maine, I’m not sure why this one is on ESPN.
Florida State 56 – Boston College 10

No. 13 Oklahoma vs. No. 15 Texas
I hate calling games in which teams are ranked so close “upsets”, but it looks like that’s what I have to call it. I get no say in these matters. The Longhorns break the national trend of losing conference games on the road – at least for now.
Texas 42 – Oklahoma 31

No. 18 Louisville at Pittsburgh
Louisville is looking to pull away in the Big East, but, Rutgers will not make it easy. Neither will Pittsburgh. The Panthers will make it five straight against Louisville and, just like last year, could cost the Cardinals a BCS berth.

No. 19 Mississippi State vs. Tennessee
This could have something to do with me getting hit in the head with a cowbell at the 2011 Gator Bowl, but Mississippi State falls this week. Ultimately it comes down to who scores more points, right? I think Tennessee’s offense is just a little too good for the Bulldogs to hold in check all day.
Tennessee 38 – Mississippi State 30

No. 20 Rutgers vs. Syracuse
Rutgers will take the next step to a BCS berth with a win against Syracuse. While this one might be interesting early, the Scarlet Knight defense should stand tall in the second half.
Rutgers 28 – Syracuse – 13

No. 21 Cincinnati vs. Fordham
I might pick Cincinnati to win the rest of the year just because I love the name Munchie Legaux. Not a lot of people realize this, but the kid can actually play football. Sorry Fordham, but you lose because your Quarterback’s name isn’t Munchie.

No. 22 Texas A&M at No. 23 Louisiana Tech
This is the “I-have-no-clue-who-to-pick” toss-up game of the week brought to you by Flip-a-Coin INC. Can Texas A&M fend off WAC? I think yes. The Aggies defense is not great, but its better than 123td in the nation.
Texas A&M 45 – Louisiana Tech 31

No. 24 Boise State vs. Fresno State
Usually, you go with Boise here, but Kellen Moore isn’t suiting up. The Bronco’s offense isn’t going to be able to keep up with the Bulldog’s unit, I don’t believe.
Fresno State 30 – Boise State17

No. 25 Michigan vs. Illinois
This one is simple: Illinois is bad this year. The forecast for this game isn’t looking to hot. It should be a sloppy game, which helps the Wolverines even more as they look to pound the ball against this Illini defense.
Michigan 35 – Illinois – 10

Bronco Backfield Runs Over Bulldogs

In a season where the Boise State offense has struggled to put points on the board, DJ Harper and Jay Ajayi both stepped up when the Broncos needed them to not only put points on the board, but to extend drives, eat the clock, and show that even in a 'down year', Boise State is still the big bully in the MWC.
