Georgia fans last season gave the Bulldog tailback tandem of Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall the nickname "Gurshall." What do the two players think of it? Not much, according to Georgia head football coach Mark Richt.
“I think the guys have been trying to get away from the Gurshall label a
little bit because they are two individual human beings,” he said. “So
I’m all for kind of breaking off that saying.”
It's not surprising Gurley and Marshall aren't keen on "Gurshall." Name mashups got old years ago. No matter. Bulldog nation fans are bound to give them even goofier nicknames separately.
