On Tuesday, the Missouri Tigers took to the field for their first practice following Saturday’s first scrimmage of the spring. Since Saturday, the Tigers have learned that starting QB James Franklin will undergo shoulder surgery later this week.

Columbia, MO (Sports Network) - Missouri junior quarterback James Franklin will undergo surgery to repair his injured right shoulder.
Franklin will miss the remainder of spring camp, but is expected to be ready for the start of the 2012 season, the university announced on Monday.
