USC receiver Marqise Lee was selected to the American Football Coaches Assn. All-America team and is one of five finalists for the Walter Camp player of the year award. Lee, a sophomore, leads major college football with a Pac-12 Conference-record 112 receptions. He has scored 15 touchdowns and ranks third nationally in all-purpose yards, averaging 215.7 yards a game. Lee, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein, Oregon running back Kenjon Barner and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Teo are finalists for the Walter Camp award. This week, Pac-12 coaches voted Lee the offensive player of the year. He is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, presented to the nation's top receiver, and also is regarded as a contender for the Heisman Trophy. USC finished the regular season with a 7-5 record. The Trojans will learn their bowl destination this weekend. -Gary Klein

The Case for USC’s Marqise Lee (infographic)

To put it kindly, the 2012 season did not go according to script for USC in their first season off of NCAA sanctions. Starting the season as the number one team in the country with a Heisman Trophy caliber quarterback and a hot off-season transfer at running back, USC ended their regular season slate with a 7-5 record, a roughed up once-upon-a-time Heisman front runner and a running...

Lee, 'just continue to work'

USC receiver Marqise Lee spoke with FOX Sports NEXT following the Trojans' 22-13 loss to Notre Dame. Lee finished Saturday's game with 5 catches for 75 yards.

USC’s final case for Marqise Lee

I sent out a Tweet this week asking schools to send me their final case on behalf of their Heisman candidates to be featured here at HP. Here is what USC sent me regarding Marqise Lee:

Shaw Pac-12 Coach of the Year

Stanford coach David Shaw has won the Pac-12 Conference's Coach of the Year award for the second straight season. Southern California wide receiver Marqise Lee also was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year and Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton the Defensive Player of the Year on Monday. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota took home Offensive Freshman of...

Lane Kiffin cost USC the game, not Max Wittek

Lane Kiffin’s play calling at the end of the USC vs Notre Dame game was absolutely atrocious. USC was down by one score with 5:58 left in the 4th quarter and a shot to beat the number 1 Irish. Kiffin started the drive with a great pass from first start freshman Max Wittek to Marqise Lee for 53 yards to the Notre Dame 2 yardline, that’s right, THE TWO. USC then committed a false...
