In what will go down as one of the wildest bowl games played this year, the Purdue Boilermakers defeated Western Michigan, 37-32, in the Little Ceasar’s Pizza Bowl. Western Michigan scored on the first points of the game on a flea flicker, then faked the extra point and scored the 2-point conversion. More trick plays from both sides followed, including 2 successful on-side kicks from Purdue in the first half.

A victory over a Big Ten team—even a 6-6 Purdue team—would have been a huge win for the program.
