The Washington Huskies (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12) will face the No. 15 Baylor Bears (9-3, 6-3 Big 12) in the Alamo Bowl on December 29th in San Antonio, Texas. Washington will face a potent offense led by quarterback Robert Griffin III who was named one of the finalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Griffin has thrown for a school record 3,678 yards and 34 touchdowns this season; while also rushing 612 yards and seven touchdowns.

Washington will have its handful against a team that has won five straight games including a 45-38 victory against Oklahoma. The Huskies might just be happy to be in their second straight bowl game. Steve Sarkisian's team limps into the Alamo Bowl after dropping four of the team's last six games.

The Alamo Bowl started in 1993 and this will be Washington's first ever appearance in it. Baylor last appeared in the Alamo Bowl back in 1994, losing 10-3 to the Washington St. Cougars.

Can Steve Sarkisian put together another solid gameplan to pull off an upset similar to last year's Holiday Bowl victory over Nebraska? Share your thoughts in the comments.
