Montee Ball was labeled a Heisman favorite this season after Matt Barkley, but Ball has quietly fallen completely off the map.
What on earth has happened to the Badgers?
The better question is just how bad the Big Ten really is?
Well, Wisconsin flat out stinks right now (for their standards and the Big Ten barely better than Big East) because their offense is atrocious and the defense is far from championship level. It is not any more complicated than that and the expectations should have been lowered heading into the season.
I was laughed at for suggesting this team would lose four games after January, but this team may honestly lose five or six games when the year is complete.
Nothing can change this squad from going 7-5 if they do not get any production from their offense. Oregon State looked like the 1985 Chicago Bears defense against Wisconsin, which is never a good sign.
Joel Stave has not played nearly well enough while replacing Danny O...

Balls status for Nebraska undecided

CFB Rumors: Montee Ball Has No Doubt He Will Play When Wisconsin Badgers Play Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday
The Wisconsin Badgers may be 3-1, although it is not the start that many envisioned to start the 2012 college football season. College football: Tailgater best and worst of week 3 and week 4
Though I took a little vacation last week, I made sure not to miss a minute of college football. And through the first four weeks of the season we’ve seen some clear themes developing. The first is that, aside from a couple of select teams, no one is safe. Already we’ve witnessed plenty of parity, and more is surely on the way. Alabama and Oregon are working hard on they...
Wisconsin-Nebraska Preview
Nebraska was given a harsh introduction into the Big Ten last season when it visited Wisconsin and All-American running back Montee Ball.
In this year's conference opener, there's a chance the 22nd-ranked Cornhuskers could avoid seeing Ball on the field when they seek redemption against the visiting Badgers on Saturday night.
Nebraska was unbeaten and ranked eighth entering...

A Wisconsin "Gangham Style" parody? Of course there is.
Wisconsin is in panic mode right now. It lost to Oregon State. Overhyped quarterback Danny O'Brien has been benched in favor of Joel Stave. Tailback Montee Ball is dealing with a concussion. What's the best thing that Wisconsin students can do at a time like this?
Make a pathetic "Gangnam Style" parody video, of course.
This is obvious proof Wisconsin...

Week four of the college football season is in our rearview mirror. Believe it or not, that means we are one-third of the way through the regular season. Morning Playbook - Notre Dame gave Michigan a breaking-up note before kickoff
Chalk up another one for realignment. Notre Dame pulled the trigger on pulling out of their extended series with Michigan yesterday, which should come as little surprise with future scheduling agreements with the ACC and a desire to retain rivalries with Navy, USC and Stanford. It was merely a matter of time before this decision was made as Notre Dame looks to find ways to...
