DUBLIN, Ohio -- He lost the lead by sending his tee shot at No. 16 into the water, then broke his driver in frustration after what he feared would be his last drive of the day.
Hideki Matsuyama still won his first PGA Tour event Sunday at the Memorial.
He might just be getting started.
Matsuyama, the 22-year old native of Japan who turned pro just over a year ago, beat Kevin Na on...
OK, Kevin Na infamously plays slow and people ***** about it. I like Kevin Na, I think he’s a good player and is usually a very dangerous putter. I understand that you should play faster but I wouldn’t open my big mouth about it like some players do. Golf gets more complaints about things then any other sport and I’d be surprised if there’s a sport that challenges that and...
Kevin Na has shot some big scores before. Add No. 12 at Augusta National to the list.
He made a 10 at there on Sunday.
By the time he reached the hole, Na was already 9-over par and trailing the leader by 17 strokes. He hit his first tee shot at the 155-yard, par-3 hole into the pond. Then he teed up another instead of hitting his next shot from a drop spot, and put that in the...

THEY LOOK LIKE BANDITS!
A Florida golfer who had his iPhone 4 stolen by raccoon while playing a round located and retrieved the phone by utilizing the iPhone's GPS app.
Golfer Kevin Na hit a great shot off the cart path onto the green at the 18th hole during Sunday's final round of The Players Championship. In the midst of expressing his excitement over Na's amazing shot, a Golf Channel announcer accidentally cursed on live television.

Kevin Na took time out from playing slow and being heckled and booed during his meltdown on Sunday to hit an amazing approach shot on the 18th hole. Na, whose prior shot was so badly placed that he decided to drop on the golf cart, calmly took his shot and put the ball on the green.
The shot was so amazing that an announcer couldn’t contain himself from dropping a s-bomb.
Kevin Na was booed, taunted and heckled on nearly every hole.
The 28-year-old South Korean native even had one spectator tell him he ''better not choke'' because he had money riding on him.
Na dealt with it best he could, and even though he felt rushed at times, he never chastised fans at The Players Championship for his Sunday slide in the final round.

Kevin Na has a pre-shot routine longer than a “Godfather” movie, but far less entertaining. The 28-year-old golfer, who leads The Players Championship through three rounds, recognizes how ridiculous his routine is and apologizes for it.
“There’s so much on the line that I just have to sometimes back off,” Na told the media on Saturday. “Or I’ll force myself to take...
That golf is a game that demands controlling dark inner demons as much as a little white ball has never been truer than it was in watching Kevin Na take the third-round lead at The Players on Saturday.
To put it mildly, it's painful watching Na play golf.
In baseball, balks are penalized. But in golf it's merely bad etiquette for...
