Believe it or not, Willie was always one of my favorite players. I know a lot of fans booed him at times with his antics, but I loved watching him and he always seemed to come up with a big hit. I am a bit surprised his Batting Average wasn't better. I seem to recall him always around the 300 mark. Thanks for helping me to remember!!
