Mccourt-mccourt
The ex-wife of former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt has filed a motion to set aside the couple's divorce settlement, claiming he committed fraud by vastly understating the team's value. Jamie McCourt's attorney, Bertram Fields, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that attempts to modify what he called a ''massive imbalance'' in the settlement failed, forcing her to return to court. The motion filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims Frank McCourt misrepresented the couple's Dodger assets as worth less than $300 million before their divorce in 2010. The team sold in May 2012 for $2.15 billion to a group that includes former NBA star Magic Johnson. Representatives for Frank McCourt could not immediately be reached for comment. A hearing for the motion has been scheduled for November.

Eric Gagne throws former teammates under the PED bus in his biography

Man, remember when Eric Gagne was a thing? It was great. Seeing him trot in from the bullpen with "Welcome to the Jungle" blaring on the speakers was a sight to behold. I'm saddened I never got to see it in person. But when he came in, the game was almost literally over. Now, he's busy throwing former teammates under the proverbial bus -- kinda. In Gagne...

Dodgers' prospect Zachary Bird among Arizona League's best, says BA

The Dodgers might have really found a gem from the 2012 MLB Draft in the person of Zachary Bird. Bird, the Dodgers' ninth-round pick, today was named the 19th-best prospect in the Arizona League by Baseball America. He was the only Dodger prospect to make the list. Yasiel Puig would have been a lock for the list, but he didn't have enough playing time to qualify. He...

Can Kershaw's return spark listless Dodgers?

Though he is not The Bulldog, there exists a profound bulldog-like tenacity and determination in Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. Refusing to be permanently sidelined by a right hip injury that caused him to miss his turn in the rotation, Kershaw returned to a desperate Dodger team weary from playing under two months of constant pressure and turned in a gutsy, crafty performance...

Adrian Beltre says Eric Gagne should have 'named names'

Eric Gagne claims in his upcoming biography that 80% of the Los Angeles Dodgers took PEDs when he was with the team.
