Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports that reliever Blake Hawksworth will have surgery on January 11th.
Dodgers reliever Blake Hawksworth is scheduled to undergo a minor surgical procedure Wednesday to remove scar tissue and shave down a bone spur in his right elbow.
Hawksworth is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks. He should be pitching at some point in spring training and could be on the team’s opening-day roster, according to a team spokesman.
Mike Petriello wondered whether or not he was pitching hurt.
To be frank, I had the same immediate thought.
Upon further review though, it seems to primarily be normalization.

Basically everything remains the same as far as his peripherals go except his BABIP, which was extraordinarily low in the first half.
Hawksworth is simply not as good as his first half and not as bad as his second half.
Boring but probably true.
