Atlanta Braves righthander Cristhian Martinez was charged with drunken driving on Monday.
Martinez's blood alcohol level was listed at 0.13 percent when he was arrested early Monday morning on Interstate 85 in Lawrenceville, Ga. The state's legal limit is 0.08 percent.
Cpl. Jake Smith noted that Martinez faces charges of impeding the flow of traffic and improper lane changes as well.
Martinez paid a bond of $1,627 and was released at 10:41 a.m.
The 30-year-old Dominican posted a 1-3 mark with a 3.36 ERA last season.
