Former Padre Chad Qualls signed with the Phillies this morning. He's their problem now. Let's not forget (or maybe we should) how well he pitched when the Padres were in Philadelphia. In case you need a reminder he gave up three homeruns to hand the Phils the game. A game that the Padres had in the bag. He had decent numbers at Petco, but his road numbers were just okay. Maybe it was a fluke that night, I mean a sinker ball pitcher isn't supposed to give up a homerun let alone three. I think our bullpen will be just fine without him and with the new additions that we have brought in. Here are your links for today:

Bullpen Banter is compiling their top 100 prospects: #98 Keyvius Sampson
"Sampson is one of the guys on the list I have BOLDED, italicized, and underlined, as I expect him to be in the Cal League next year, and I am hoping to get a long look at him. He’s definitely a guy to keep an eye or two on."
