I’m sure each and every one that will read this has experienced struggles. Life isn’t easy. For David Eckstein and his family, they have experienced the same struggle over and over and over again.If you don’t remember Eckstein, he and his brother Rick both played baseball for Florida. As a Gator, David went from walk-on to All-American. He would play 10 years in the Majors and be part of two World Series Champions. He was the MVP of the World Series in 2006 as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and a two-time All-Star.The Eckstein’s struggle is that kidney disease runs in the family. Five of David’s immediate family members have had kidney transplants and although he himself doesn’t have the ailment, he is in line to be a donor one day.
