Veteran infielder Juan Castro decided to call it a career on Sunday.
The 39-year-old Castro will remain in the Los Angeles Dodgers' organization by becoming a special assistant in the front office.
Castro batted .286 (4-for-14) and collected one RBI in seven games this season.
Known as a defensive specialist, Castro finished his career with a .229 average, 36 homers and 234 RBIs in his 17-year career with the Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies.
