Los Angeles Dodgers star outfielder Yasiel Puig was arrested early Saturday morning in Florida for reckless driving, according to the Naples News:
Puig was arrested in Collier County on Saturday morning after Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported clocking his white Mercedes at 110 mph on Alligator Alley.
This is the second time Puig has been arrested for reckless driving. Puig was ticketed in Chattanooga, Tenn. back in April for driving 97 in a 50 MPH zone. The charges were dismissed after Puig completed community service in Los Angeles in November.
Puig was the runner-up for the NL Rookie of the Year award after batting .319 with 19 home runs and 42 runs batted in after being called up in June. The Dodgers reached the NL Championship Series before falling short to the St. Louis Cardinals.
