Fox Sports West:
So much for the return of Javy Guerra.
The right-handed relievers up-and-down season took another wrong turn Tuesday when he was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique.
Guerra started the season as the Dodgers closer before hitting a rough patch and losing the role to Kenley Jansen. He was sent down to triple-A Albuquerque in the middle of August and called back on Sept. 2 after rosters had been expanded.
Guerra, however, appeared in only one game since returning, throwing one scoreless inning Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
To replace him on the roster, the Dodgers called back right-handed reliever Josh Wall.
This is Walls third stint with the Dodgers this season. He made three appearances, allowing three runs on three hits in 3 13 innings, before being optioned back to Albuquerque on Aug. 30.
