Found January 20, 2009 on Vegas Watch:

Dodgers sign Rafael Furcal for three years, $30MM. $12MM 2012 team option becomes guaranteed if he has 600 PAs in 2011. "He also can earn an additional $1 million annually, including the option year, if he remains healthy."*
Analsis: Snyder.
CHONE projection: 625 PAs, .284/.358/.412, 11 HR, 24/7 SB/CS; worth $11.4MM in 2009 if average fielding SS.

*- I'm not entirely sure what this means. No DL?

Voting so far:

Teixeira seems completely out of place, somebody needs to explain that one to me. And it couldn't have been my ringing endorsement of "better than two signings I didn't really like"; I don't think my commentary has that much of an effect on the voting anyway.

Also, it's becoming pretty obvious that nobody else is going to even approach Ibanez.

How would you rate the Dodgers' signing of Rafael Furcal?
