Found September 19, 2013 on MLB Injury News:
Hanley Ramirez returned from a lower back injury for all of one game.  Yesterday, he was back on the bench.  Ramirez has missed time off and on this season with a slew of injuries, so the Los Angeles Dodgers are understandably trying to play it safe with him.  Yesterday, Ramirez was not on the bench because of injury, but simply to get him some scheduled rest. Ken Gurnick of MLB.com says Ramirez was left out of the lineup as part of the Dodgers' plans to reintroduce him to full time play.  However, Ramirez is not likely to play today either.  If the Dodgers are simply trying to bring him back slowly, that's fine, but the extra days off are slightly concerning. "I don't think anybody feels Hanley's 100 percent," said manager Don Mattingly. "He's good today. He's a little sore body-wise and he's not playing. The key for us is to get him sharp." Ramirez has only played in 80 games this season.  However, in those 80 games he has helped spark the Dodgers' success.  This season, Ramirez is hitting .343/.397/.633 with 18 home runs.  That's an impressive full season, let alone a half season. The Dodgers' magic number remained at two after a loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks last night.  Had they won, the Dodgers would have officially clinched the division. Dodgers make big splash in Arizona celebration

How dare the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate in ''our'' swimming pool. The Dodgers insist they meant no disrespect, but...

He watched as Arizona took an early lead, then blew the game open late in a 9-4 victory on Wednesday night...

Alexander Guerrero field "wide open," as other teams try to outbid Dodgers

Cuban infielder Alexander Guerrero is back to being a free agent again after apparently coming close to signing a deal with the Dodgers and it is believed that the Red Sox Reds Rangers and Giants are among other teams that may have some interest. Photo: Dodgers fan has image of Dodger Stadium tattooed on side of head

There is perhaps nothing more a fan can do to prove their loyalty to a team other than getting a tattoo of its stadium on their head, right? While the former sentence can certainly be debated, there is no debating the reality that this Los Angeles Dodgers fan has an image of Dodger Stadium inked on the side of his head. Oh, and upon further review, it looks like he...
