Freddy Galvis, who homered to give the Phillies the victory, is interviewed after receiving a shaving cream pie. (Photo Credit: AP) Freddy Galvis had a night to remember.  With Jimmy Rollins having the night off, Galvis had a chance to prove his worth.  He did just that as he went 4-for-5, including a walk-off home run. Kyle Kendrick pitched well for the Phillies, lasting six innings.  He gave up three runs on four hits and three walks.  He struck out eight. Along with Galvis, Carlos Ruiz had himself a good night.  The Braves took a 2-0 lead in the third, but Chooch responded with a two-run single to tie the game.  Ruiz would later give the Phillies the lead in the fifth inning, smashing a double.  Galvis added an RBI single, giving the Phillies a 4-2 lead in the fifth. Kevin Frandsen put the Phillies up 5-3 with a run batted in during the eighth inning.  With Jonathan Papelbon in to close, it looked as if it would be another victory for the Phillies. In the ninth, Chris Johnson, who doubled earlier in the game, hit a soft liner to center field.  It could be argued that Roger Bernadina should have made the catch, but didn’t.  It could have been a 1-2-3 inning, but wasn’t.  With a man on, Andrelton Simmons tied the game with a homer just over the left field fence.  Papelbon completely missed his spot as he left the pitch middle-in.  The game was suddenly tied at five. Every time the Braves scored on Saturday, the Phillies quickly responded with some runs.  The trend continued into the ninth inning.  Freddy Galvis, the second batter of the inning, smashed the 1-0 offering into the right field seats.  There wasn’t a doubt about it, as he got under it and lifted it.  The dugout emptied onto the field, and the Phillies had themselves another walk-off victory. With the 6-5 victory over the Atlanta Braves, the Phillies could complete the sweep over the first place team on Sunday.
