Furcal on the Disabled-List

Rafael Furcal, suffering from a strained lower back, has been placed on the 15-day disabled list. The shortstop has missed his last four games due to this ailment. Hopefully, this injury will not lead to serious complications in the future. Furcal has been a splendid asset of the Dodgers' organization in the 2008 Regular Season thus far. The potential National League Most Valuable Player achieved a .366 batting-average through 134 at-bats.
