Settle back, get some coffee and lets play ball First Inning – Alejandro De Aza, Jeff Keppinger, Alex Rios *1 – 0 Indians – (first pitch Jake throws he hits a homer) Second Inning -  Adam Dunn, Paul Konerko, Dayan Viciedo, *1 – 0 Third Inning -  Conor Gillaspie (single), Alexei Ramirez (single)  Tyler Flowers , De Aza, *1 – 0 Fourth Inning -  Keppinger (single), Rios (single) , Dunn, Konerko, Viciedo *1 – 0 Fifth Inning - Gillaspie (single)(out on attempted steel) , Ramirez ,Flowers(double), De Aza *1 – 0 (jake picked off base runner at first)(Jake has eight strikeouts)  Sixth Inning -  Keppinger(reaches on error), Rios(hit into double play), Dunn(walk), Konerko(Home run), Viciedo, *2 – 1 CHICAGO (53 of 75 pitches Jake has thrown have been for strikes) Seventh Inning -  Gillaspie, Ramirez, Flowers *2 – 1 (coffee break kids, stretch time) Eighth Inning -   De Aza (Home Run), Keppinger , Rios (single), Dunn,Konerko *3 – 1 Chicago (Jake has passed the mound keys to Matt Thornton) Ninth Inning –  Viciedo, Ramirez,Gillaspie *3 – 1 Chicago (Addison Reed passed the keys to close the office for the day) Addison just turned the lights out and locked the door to the mound office. A very much-needed win today. Jake looked amazing, after that first pitch home run, Jake settled down and went to work.  Ok, kids it’s time to pack the bag again and grab the passport because we are heading north to Toronto Canada, for a four game series with the Blue Jays and then its straight home for a three game series with the Minnesota Twins, then the Indians come for a visit on home turf for three games and finally closing out the home stand is a four game series with the Tampa Bay Rays before a well deserved day off.
