Brian Schneider's three-run home run in the second inning was the key blow in the Mets' 5-3 win over the Rays on Friday night. The Mets have 44 RBIs from catchers this season (Omir Santos, 21; recently- traded Ramon Castro, 13; Schneider, 10), the most of any National League team and second-most in the majors, behind the Royals (45).

And remarkably, on a team with David Wright and Carlos Beltran, the Mets have more RBIs this season from catchers than any other position! Next-most: 42 by center fielders, 42 by first basemen, 40 by third basemen.
