Matt Kemp was activated off the disabled list yesterday, and he ended up striking out with the game on the line in his first plate appearance.
This led to a bunch of enraged idiots blaming Kemp for everything, but for us back in the realm of things that actually matter to reasonable people, there was a noticeable change in his stance.
Did Kemp purposely change his batting stance...
I recently wrote about an observation I had regarding Matt Kemp‘s change in hitting setup, but I didn’t actually know if this was a conscious move or not on his part.
Heck, some people thought me and the others were just imagining Kemp’s change. However, now the adjustments have been confirmed by the man himself and coaches as well, so Kemp is indeed tinkering with the setup...

The sky is no longer falling on the Los Angeles Dodgers, at least not on Tuesday night.
Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez were back in the lineup for the Dodgers and with their return, the Dodgers cruised to a 9-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Kemp wasted no time in showing...
The good news for the Dodgers is that center fielder Matt Kemp, out for almost two months with ankle and hamstring issues, was activated from the disabled list Monday afternoon.
The bad news: Kemp wasn't in the starting lineup for the Dodgers' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
Given the state of their roster, the return of Kemp has to be viewed as a...
Hanley Ramirez returned from a lower back injury for all of one game. Yesterday, he was back on the bench. Ramirez has missed time off and on this season with a slew of injuries, so the Los Angeles Dodgers are understandably trying to play it safe with him. Yesterday, Ramirez was not on the bench because of injury, but simply to get him some scheduled rest.
Hanley Ramirez has resumed baseball activites.
The shortstop hit off a tee and did fielding exercises on Monday for the first time since he last played Thursday.
He was back in the starting lineup yesterday and looked like his normal self, going 1-2 with 3 BB.
His health will be instrumental in how far the Dodgers go in the postseason.
Matt Kemp was activated from the DL on...
The Los Angeles Dodgers will get back two big bats just in time for the stretch run and push for the National League's top seed in the final 12 games. MLB.com's Dodgers beat writer Ken Gurnick tweets that Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez are in Tuesday night's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Hanley Ramirez, Matt Kemp start tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have recently been dealing with
injuries to several outfielders, including Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Carl Crawford
and Yasiel Puig. While they’ve garnered a lot of attention, Los Angeles has also
been sans Hanley Ramirez since Thursday. The shortstop is making progress
toward rejoining the team, as Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports Ramirez resumed...
Matt Kemp rejoined the Dodgers on Monday at Chase Field and the outfielder was activated before the four-game series against the Diamondbacks. Kemp took early batting practice and ran the bases under the scrutiny of director of medical services Stan Conte before the game and proved healthy enough to play.
"We're going to see how BP goes and see how he's moving in the...
For the first time since July, the Dodgers took the field Monday night with Matt Kemp on the active roster. But their offense stayed stuck in its September swoon, and the Diamondbakcs needed just one swing off of Hyun-Jin Ryu to make them pay.
Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run home run in the first inning and Trevor Cahill and three relievers made it stand up in Arizona's 2-1 win...
LOS ANGELES The celebration was supposed to take place at home, in front of their fans and in the ballpark where they had turned around their season with a spectacular run of victories.
But now the Dodgers are taking their champagne and their myriad of health concerns on the road.
For a second day in a row, their magic number stalled at four, but at the moment, it seems less...
Baseball's Cuban influence resonates daily in the achievements of some wondrous talents in the field and on the mound. It's evident in Aroldis Chapman's triple-digit radar-gun readings in Cincinnati and Jose Fernandez's extraordinary four-pitch repertoire in Miami. Yasiel Puig is a magnet for attention and jersey sales in Los Angeles and Yoenis Cespedes has become...
Wladamir Klitschko now has competition for the imaginary title of being “the most awesome person with the name Wladamir.”
This past weekend Wladamir Balentien broke the Japanese home run record by hitting his 56th (record-breaking) and 57th (exclamation point) dingers. Before heading overseas the Curacao-native played with the Mariners and Reds until 2009 and collected 15 home...
