Found May 19, 2013 on Fox Sports:
Dodgers second baseman Mark Ellis has returned to the lineup after missing the last 19 games with a right quadriceps strain. Catcher Tim Federowicz was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Ellis on the 25-man roster. Ellis was batting second Sunday against the Braves. Ellis was hitting .342 with two homers and 11 RBIs when he injured his quad while running out a grounder in a win over Milwaukee on April 26. The 11-year veteran is in his second season with the Dodgers and has a career .266 batting average. Ellis made his last rehab appearance with Double-A Chattanooga on Saturday and went 0 for 3 with a walk.

Is Don Mattingly on his way out?

With the Dodgers struggling, Don Mattingly reportedly has a tenuous hold on his job at best and some speculate that it would be a surprise if he lasts the week.

Ax to fall soon for LA's Mattingly

I've seen the Dodgers twice in person this season, and both times came away thinking that the team would be OK, that manager Don Mattingly would survive. Now I'm convinced that Mattingly is going to get fired. And the sooner it happens, the better. The players like Mattingly. Club executives insist his lame-duck status is not an issue. But I've seen it too many times...

A Pair Of 2013 Dodgers' Bobblehead Additions: The Bison and HanRam.

I attended the Matt Kemp Bobblehead Giveaway game on May 14th and walked away with this sweet nodder.I also picked up the Hanley Ramirez "I See You" bobble, though I didn't make it out to that particular game. My buddy and his girlfriend went and he's not much of a baseball fan, so he asked if I wanted it. As much as I despise the "I See You" gesture,...

Dodgers GM says Mattingly "doing fine"

Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti says beleaguered manager Don Mattingly is ''doing fine'' and has kept the team steady despite its last-place showing in the NL West. There has been speculation that Mattingly's job was in jeopardy. The Dodgers are 17-25 despite a high payroll. Asked if it was false to say Mattingly would be fired this week, Colletti...

Kershaw, Kemp lead Dodgers to win

Clayton Kershaw scattered three singles in his second complete game of the year and Matt Kemp hit his first home run since April 24, lifting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. Ryan Braun managed a pair of singles and Yuniesky Betancourt also singled for the only hits off Kershaw (5-2). The lefty struck out five and walked one. Andre...

Heyward tips cap to Kemp after great play

Tweet   When it comes to playing center field there aren’t many who do it better than Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers. On Saturday the two-time Gold Glove Award winner used his impressive athleticism to rob Atlanta Braves right fielder Jason Heyward at the wall.   Your browser does not support iframes.   [...]

Going...Going...Not Gone: Dodgers Matt Kemp Makes Home Run Stealing Catch

Matt Kemp is a heck of a ball player--there is no denying that. Saturday night when his Dodgers were playing the Atlanta Braves he proved that once again by making this catch to steal a home run from Jason Heyward. You have to give Heyward a little credit too. Not many players would tip their hat to a guy that just took a home run from them! Your browser does not support iframes.

Brewers look to crack the Clayton Kershaw code

Clayton Kershaw is tied for the majors' lowest ERA, but unfortunately also owns baseball's worst run support average. Fortunately for him, the Milwaukee Brewers have been awful against left-handers as they face Kershaw in Monday night's opener of a three-game set with the Los Angeles Dodgers out to snap a six-game road slide. Kershaw (4-2, 1.40 ERA) is tied with St. Louis...

Clayton Kershaw Shuts Down Brewers with three-hitter

While much of the talk about the Los Angeles Dodgers centered around Don Mattingly and whether or not he would be keeping his job, Clayton Kershaw went about his business scattering three base hits to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Ryan Braun managed a pair of singles and Yuniesky Betancourt also singled for the only hits off Kershaw. Matt...

Dodgers rumors: Don Mattingly is going to be fired

The Los Angeles Dodgers have under-performed to open the 2013 season, and the effects of the slow start may soon be felt. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports is convinced that manager Don Mattingly is going to get fired, and he believes the sooner that happens, the better. Mattingly has a number of things going for him. The players like him. Executives insist his lame-duck status in...

Braves 5, Dodgers 2

Ramiro Pena had a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in a four-run eighth inning, Jordan Schafer drove in two runs and the Atlanta Braves rallied against the Los Angeles Dodgers' beleaguered bullpen for a 5-2 victory on a rain-soaked Sunday. Kenley Jansen (1-3) was the loser for the second straight game, this time allowing one hit, two runs and a walk while getting just one out in a...
