San Diego Padres second baseman Orlando Hudson left Tuesday's game against the New York Mets with a strained right groin.
Hudson, who has been on the disabled list twice this season because of strained groins to both legs, is being listed as day-to-day.
Hudson had an RBI double and scored a run before being lifted for pinch-hitter Alberto Gonzalez in the fifth inning.
Hudson, in his first season in San Diego, is batting .239 with three homers and 27 RBIs.
