San Diego Padres second baseman Orlando Hudson was carted off the field on a stretcher Thursday after slamming into the wall during a game against the Florida Marlins.Hudson hurt himself while attempting to make a diving catch. He remained on the ground for several minute as trainers checked on him before loading him onto a stretcher and removing him from the field.The veteran infielder went 1-for-3 on the afternoon and is hitting .242 for the season with two home runs and 22 RBIs.
