San Diego Padres righthander Dustin Moseley will have season-ending shoulder surgery, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Tuesday night.
Moseley needs a procedure to repair a dislocated left shoulder suffered July 26. It was the secocnd time in seven weeks he dislocated the shoulder.
In his first season with the Padres, Moseley had a 3.30 ERA in 20 starts. However, he was victimized by a lack of run support and had just a 3-10 record.
In six seasons with the Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees and San Diego, Moseley is 15-21 with a 4.61 ERA in 100 games, including 52 starts.
