Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay was removed from Sunday's game in St. Louis after just two innings because of soreness in his right shoulder. The Phillies pinch-hit for Halladay in the top of the third inning with the Philadelphia trailing 4-0 after Halladay had thrown just 36 pitches. The move to take Halladay out of the game was termed a precautionary move by the Phillies. Halladay had allowed a two-out grand slam to Yadier Molina in the first inning after loading the bases on two singles and a walk. The two-time Cy Young Award winner has struggled this month with a 6.11 ERA in May.
