Jay-Z's Black Album was released to deserved fanfare in 2003. Among the tracks on what was billed at the time as the hip-hop legend's final album was "99 Problems." That song was performed by Shawn Carter. It should have stayed that way. A rapper (or whatever he wants to call himself) named Lil' Louie C reworked "99 Problems" into an anthem for the 2011 Philadelphia Phillies. The result -- which is interesting, to say the least -- can be viewed in the video below.

Ryan Howard blasted a go-ahead, three-run homer in the sixth inning of Saturday's Game 1 of the National League Division Series that helped propel the Phillies to an 11-6 come-from-behind win and made the Howard the toast of the town, at least for one night.
Favorites to win it all, the Philadelphia Phillies are banking on Cole Hamels' big-game background in St. Louis.
One down, 10 more wins to go. After a sluggish start for both Roy Halladay and the offense, the Phillies woke up in time to pound the Cardinals, 11-6, and start off the 2011 playoffs with a win. Here are some of my thoughts on the game:-Who else had a sinking feeling in their stomach after Halladay gave up the 3-run homer in the first inning and when the Phillies offense looked...
The Philadelphia Phillies face the St Louis Cardinals in game one of the NLDS today. Every game is a must win in the playoffs but game one truly can be the make or break it game in the MLB playoffs. Don't believe me? Just look at the statistics since 1995 when the wild card playoff format began.
Overall in the playoffs just better then 72% of teams that won game one went...
The sight of Roy Halladay delivering a pitch and having it land in the right field stands on Saturday night was a strange one for the Philadelphia Phillies fans at Citizens Bank Park.
And not only because Halladay is a star pitcher who is likely on his way to the Hall of Fame because he doesn't do things like give up three runs in the first inning of a postseason game.
The Philadelphia Phillies are holding a postseason rally prior to this afternoon's Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The rally will begin at 3:30 p.m. outside Citizens Bank Park at the giant stage near the intersection of Citizens Bank Park and Pattison Avenue. The event is free of charge and no ticket is required. Phillies alums...

PHILADELPHIA -- Jimmy Rollins will take his hacks against the Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLDS today, but it may turn out that his best swings of the weekend came yesterday, pertaining to the Mets' Jose Reyes.
The Phillies shortstop indicated he is a Reyes fan. But Rollins also...
St. Louis rallied from a 4-0 deficit against Cliff Lee to earn a 5-4 victory. The National League division series is tied at a game apiece.
Nobody will telephone Don Larsen this morning. No one will ask Jim Bunning for a statement. No one will propose that a statue of Roy Halladay be positioned next to the one of Robin Roberts. No one among the 46,480 in Citizens Bank Park Saturday will preserve a ticket stub for investment in the memorabilia market.
Ryan Howard hit a huge home run, Roy Halladay overcame a shaky start and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 11-6 Saturday night in the opener of their NL division series.
The Phillies tried to make it two in a row over the Cardinals with Cliff Lee on the mound in Game 2.
The Phillies' remarkable success in recent years -- a run that has seen them win five consecutive NL East titles -- has been accomplished with the same core of position players, which is difficult to do in this era of free agency.
