Yeah. It’s a little fuzzy for me too.
Since mid-August, the A’s have been on a tear. And the Rangers? Well, they’ve just been coasting. And not in a good way. I don’t know what happened or when it happened, but this team just slowly started going downhill. They stopped looking like a division leader and started looking like a very tired baseball team. And I understand why. They’ve played more games in the past three years than any other team. But still. It’s very frustrating.
And frustration was the theme for tonight, as the game slipped away, and Oakland grabbed a tie for first place in the AL West.
I definitely wanted Matt Harrison on the mound tonight. I trusted him to get the job done. And, you know what? I’m not disappointed with the job he did. He pitched six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk. I wish he could have stayed in the game longer, but Matty’s workload ha
