We are nearing the mid-way point of the 2013 MLB season with the All-Star break looming in the near future. Many highly touted rookies have enjoyed early success at the major league level thus far into their young careers.
First and foremost is Yasiel Puig, the man is an absolute beast and has been destroying major league pitching since his promotion. Puig was called up after the Los Angeles Dodgers suffered injuries to superstars Matt Kemp and Carl Crawford. The 42-million dollar man is batting .442 with 34 hits and 7 home runs in his first 20 games. It’s obviously a small sample size but Puig has displayed 5 tool talents in every facet of the game and has every Dodger fan frothing for more.
