ESPN's Adam Rubin is now reporting that the Mets have placed SP Chris Young on the disabled list after he was unable to loosen up prior to last night's game. Since then, it was reported the Young has experienced tightness in the back of his throwing shoulder and over the course of the week, had received two cortisone shots to relieve the problem. We have come to learn, which Rubin hinted to during the week, the Young's shoulder had been a growing concern all week for the Mets.Pat Misch has been recalled to fill the roster spot left by Young.
