MLB News: The San Diego Padres recalled pitcher Thad Weber from Triple-A Tucson to take place of starter Tyson Ross who went on the disabled list due to a left shoulder separation. It is not known Weber’s role with the Padres as far as whether or not he will get the start in Ross’ absence, but either way Weber has struggled so far this year, tossing up a 4.91 earned run average. Fantasy Ramifications: Thad Weber holds no fantasy value, even in the deepest of leagues despite the fact that he could see a spot start. Leave him on the waiver wire.
