A couple days ago, the Dodgers picked up their half of Scott Podsednik's 2 million dollar option for 2011, shockingly (not) he thought he could do better and will become a free agent, according to Dylan Hernandez. He doesn't get a buyout since he declined his part of the option.

It would have been nice to have him back on the cheap, but it's no big loss if he doesn't return. Of course, there's a good chance this just means Ned Colletti will overpay to re-sign him.

One outfielder will be returning though, as the Dodgers signed Jay Gibbons to a one year, 400k deal with incentives, according to Hernandez.
