Some Thoughts......about the core of this team..

I am listening to Evan Roberts and Joe Benigno and they had some good thoughts about the new York Mets. They made some very good suggestions on to what Omar should do to break up the core of this team. They said that the Mets should not bring back Carlos Delgado and replace him with Daniel Murphy. They said they should also get a big time second basemen like Orlando Hudson, who I think will be perfect. I would not mind having Murphy play first even though I suggested in recent post that they could trade him because he has value.

Also they were suggesting that if you need that gritty player that the Mets don't have, they should get A.J. Pierzynski for catcher. I would not mind seeing him in a Mets uniform..........For Pitching They said the Mets should sign Derek Lowe, who has winning experience and is a ground ball pitcher.
