Your browser does not support iframes.Let's just say the Los Angeles Dodgers had plenty of trouble trying to communicate with their bullpen at Citi Field Wednesday evening. As you can see from the video above, the Dodgers ran into major complications when trying to phone down to the 'pen in the fifth inning of their game against the New York Mets. Los Angeles wanted to get a reliever ready in case southpaw starter Ted Lilly ran into a jam, but their attempt to do so was thwarted by faulty communication lines. At one point, Dodgers skipper Don Mattingly even has to go out and explain the situation to the home plate umpire before the situation is finally resolved. So, essentially Los Angeles had four phones in their dugout and not one of them was working, and if they were working, it appears nobody in their bullpen wanted in part in answering the ring on the other end.Could this all have been plotted by the Mets in an effort to gain an edge on the visitors from the west? Or was it just simply an honest mistake? I suggest getting Sherlock Holmes on this case immediately.
