Roy Halladay has been a completely different pitcher for the Phillies this season. His record his 2-4. His ERA is 8.65 which is the worst in the National League and the second worst in baseball. This is something the Phillies are not used to.
In yesterday’s game against the Marlins, Halladay couldn’t get through the third inning. He gave up nine runs on only four hits. This didn’t look like the pitcher who had pitched a perfect game and won the CY Young in 2010.
After the game Halladay had said that he has been experiencing shoulder soreness. He didn’t think anything of it at first and kept on pitching.  Now he will be having test on his shoulder. Most likely he will end up on the disabled list. What should the Phillies do?
Halladay lied to the Phillies organization and played hurt. That is a selfish move as he hurt his team’s chances of winning. I believe that the Phillies should see what they can get on the market for Halladay. Maybe they can get a pitcher who still has their stuf...
