While the New York Yankees and their attorneys feverishly search for an out in Alex Rodriguez’s contract, the rest of the baseball world points their fingers and laugh. Why? Because there isn’t a chance in hell that the Yankees get out from under this deal, short of A-Rod physically assaulting Hal and Hank Steinbrenner and being thrown in jail. And even then, it is unlikely that the deal gets voided. You are probably well aware by now that Alex Rodriguez is linked to, along with several other Major League Baseball players, to a Miami-based “chemist” who supplied performance-enhancing drugs. It is being reported by Miami New Times that A-Rod was receiving PEDs from Anthony Bosch, including Human Growth Hormone and synthetic testosterone. According to the records obtained, Rodriguez was paid through April 30, 2012. He is referred to in the records of Bosch as ‘Alex Rod.’ Other players involved are Gio Gonzalez, Nelson Cruz, Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon and Yasmani Granda. The latter three have already have already been caught by MLB and suspended.
