Bryce Harper can thank the umpire for the bad call made at third base because he was clearly tagged out when he attempted to advance from second on a Jason Werth flyball hit to right-field. Harper was the latest victim to feel the wrath of Yasiel Puig’s canon of an arm. Puig threw a rocket to third base and the tag was properly placed in time by Juan Uribe; but third base umpire Eric Cooper, didn’t see it that way. Cooper was in the best position to make a clear call and blew it.

There is no better arm in right-field today. The missed call by Eric Cooper was costly as it allowed Harper to score on a Ricky Nolasco’s wild pitch.
