Junior dos Santos' second heavyweight title defense has been targeted for the first day of fall in Toronto. His opponent would like to make it his last.
Last April we saw Georges St. Pierre and Jose Aldo make that entrance in front of a recording breaking Rogers Centre crowd with the belt around their waist. Both left with the same belt. December came and another champion named Jon Jones did the very same just a hop and a skip away from Rogers. On the first day of autumn Junior dos Santos will attempt to become the fourth champion to successfully defend his title in the capital of Ontario since MMA became regulated there.

Dana White announced the news of the Dos Santos vs. Velasquez rematch last night following the 'UFC on FX 3' post-fight presser. While it's not yet etched in stone, a Heavyweight title fight would be the perfect reward for one of the best UFC markets in the world. White also confirmed during the post-fight presser that Canada's own Rory MacDonald will indeed be matched up against a well rested B.J. Penn in the co-headliner of the evening. MacDonald called out Penn earlier in the week and Penn made it clear that the main reason he took the fight was having the opportunity for another shot at Firas Zhabi and TriStar Gym fighter. After being dominated by GSP in their 2nd fight, Penn clearly feels that he has something to prove to the Montreal based group and on September 22nd in Toronto he'll get the opportunity to do just that.

No venue has been officially announced for UFC 152 but word around the campfire is that the fights will take place at the Air Canada Centre.
