When news broke earlier this year that DREAM had done its last show it wasn't really much of a surprise. Taking into account that FEG (the parent company of the promotion) had declared bankruptcy in the spring, along with the emergence of Victor Cui's ONE FC - you have the death of a promotion that was supposed to keep PRIDE alive. It seemed that the emergence of the Singapore based ONE FC helped many fans forget about DREAM in 2012. As a fan, the only thing that I kept telling myself I'd miss was the always electric DREAM NYE show.

Well luckily for us, thanks to Glory Sports International, we will get that JMMA 'Super Show' of sorts to close out 2012. As of now, the card has been tagged 'DREAM.18: Special NYE 2012', and will feature such regulars as Tatsuya Kawajiri, Hiroyuki Takaya, and Satoru Kitaoka.

While it remains unclear if Glory will continue to do DREAM shows beyond NYE 2012, you can bet that JMMA fans have to be excited about what could easily end up being the most entertaining MMA/Kickboxing show of the year. More info will be released right here as it becomes available.  For those of you that are interested we've attached video of today's presser from Tokyo below. DREAM Official
