After Dustin Poirier (Pictured) quickly disposed of Max Holloway this past Saturday at UFC 143 en rout to collecting ‘Submission of the Night’ honors, the up-and-coming featherweight politely requested a bout against Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung.

However, after letting a couple of days pass, “The Diamond’s” desire to get his hands on his fellow former WECer has grown immensely. Poirier aggressively took to his Twitter this week and issued a more assertive challenge.

“I want to go Zombie hunting!!” Poirier tweeted.

Although he was halfway across the globe, it didn’t take long for Jung to respond to his 145-pound counterpart. He did so by referencing his last performance, where he knocked out prior top contender Mark Hominick merely seven ticks into their UFC 140 affair.

“Dustin Poirier? 6 seconds!” Jung responded.

Jung’s comment prompted Poirier to drop the gauntlet and threaten to reveal the Zombie’s inferior game for the entire world to witness.

“Trust me you don’t want this… I will expose you,” Poirier quickly countered.

Both fighters are skyrocketing in popularity and each have been on impressive runs. The shootout makes sense on multiple levels, so let’s just hope the UFC is following them on Twitter and picked up on the banter.
