The Lunar Calendar states 2012 is the year of the Golden Dragon. If you were to ask the Ultimate Fighting Championship, this was unquestionably the year of the Injury Bug. On Wednesday morning, UFC president Dana White announced former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin (Pictured) will be forced out of this month’s scrap against Phil Davis with a blown knee. “Forrest Has MCL tear and ACL strain. 20 cc’s of blood removed from his knee and the saga continues at the UFC!!” White tweeted just moments ago. Griffin was last seen beating Tito Ortiz at UFC 147. It was revealed shortly after the unanimous decision victory that the 33-year-old Griffin was medically prescribed Testosterone Replacement Therapy for the scrap. Could this mark the beginning of the end for Griffin’s career? White revealed in August that he has talked to “The Ultimate Fighter 1″ winner about calling it quits. No word on what the promotion plans to do with Davis. He and Griffin were slated to co-headline UFC 155 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here is the December 29th’s revised agenda: Preliminary Card: Erik Perez vs. Byron Bloodworth Leonard Garcia vs. Cody McKenzie John Moraga vs. Chris Cariaso Phil DeFries vs. Todd Duffee Myles Jury vs. Michael Johnson Brad Pickett vs. Eddie Wineland Chris Leben vs. Karlos Vemola Main Card: (Pay-Per-View 10PM ET/7PM PT) Phil Davis vs. TBD Tim Boetsch vs. Constantinos Philippou Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami Joe Lauzon vs. Jim Miller Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos (UFC heavyweight champion)
