According to the Orange County District Attorney, troubled former UFC star Jason “Mayhem” Miller (Pictured) has been charged with vandalism for allegedly breaking into Mission Hills Church last month.

Miller could face up to one year in jail if convicted for the misdemeanor.

In the criminal complaint filed by the D.A., “Miller did maliciously and unlawfully deface with graffiti and other inscribed material, damage, and destroy church property, real and personal property belonging to Mission Hills Baptist Church, in the amount of $400 and more.”

Miller has a court hearing scheduled for November 21st.

The O.C. Sheriff’s Office received a call in the early morning hours of August 13th about a possible burglary in progress at the Mission Viejo, California church. When authorities arrived on the scene, the place was completely trashed.

CDs, books and broken pictures were scattered throughout the church, and the first two floors were covered in white fire extinguisher foam. Officers found Miller naked on a couch.

Miller was immediately taken into custody for burglary.

The 31-year-old was cut from the UFC in May after dropping a lopsided loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146. However, according to UFC president Dana White, it was the “crazy [expletive]” that happened backstage that got him axed.
