On Monday morning, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson ripped UFC color commentator Joe Rogan (Pictured) for his perceived fugazi and biased ways. His criticism was so harsh that Rogan was left with no choice but to respond.

“If you win then Joe Rogan’s got to do an interview with you, and most likely he has been talking some crap about you [during your fight],” Rampage told FightersOnly. “‘He’s so one-dimensional, he’s so one-dimensional’ – he’s going on about jiu-jitsu the whole time.

“That’s why I’m like, ‘Oh, here comes Joe Rogan’ and he’s all fake in his face like he’s not just picked apart your whole game like he’s the best fighter in the world and he knows every decision you’re gonna make while he is just sitting there watching you.”

The former light heavyweight champ went on to claim he would steamroll Rogan in a fight, so long as it never hits the canvas for Rogan to showcase his exceptional BJJ skills.

Rogan subsequently took to the The Underground to not only agree with Rampage’s prediction if they were to ever go head-to-head, but also to clarify the comments he makes during live UFC broadcasts.

“I think he’d beat the [expletive] out of me too!” Rogan posted. “For the record, I like Rampage a lot. I’ve always enjoyed hanging out and talking with him. I’m sure if I talked with him about all this stuff he would feel a lot better about it. I’m certainly not hating on him, I’m a fan.

“When I talk about his game it’s because I have to analyze things objectively, and I think he’s one of the toughest, most dangerous guys in the game. If I describe something that I wish he would do it’s because I think his athletic and fighting potential is immense.”

The two will have the opportunity to clear the air this Saturday at UFC 144. Rampage meets Ryan Bader in the show’s co-featured attraction, while Rogan will be sitting inches from the action offering up his analysis.
