Matt Hamill is the latest fighter to come out of retirement.
UFC officials announced today that Hamill is returning and will face UFC newcomer Roger Hollett at UFC 152 in September. Hamill announced his retirement after a second-round technical knockout loss to Alexander Gustafsson last August at UFC 133.
Hamill is 9-4 inside the Octagon and is the only person to defeat Jon Jones, albeit controversially.
Hollett is a veteran of the Canadian MMA scene and has compiled a 13-3 career record. Hollett has won five fights in a row, most recently defeating John Hawk by split decision at Bellator 57.
UFC 152 takes place September 22nd at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is headlined by the inaugural UFC flyweight championship bout between Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson.
