Another Strikeforce fighter will be getting an opportunity to prove themselves against UFC competition. Bobby Voelker is scheduled to meet Canadian Patrick Cote at UFC 156 in February. The news was announced earlier today on UFC.com. After amassing a 4 fight win streak prior to making his UFC return, Patrick Cote would drop a unanimous decision to Cung Le in his first fight back in the UFC. He would later defeat Alessio Sakara via disqualification in Montreal when the Italian blatantly punched the back of his head repeatedly early in the first round, forcing the commission to take action. The rematch was expected to take place at UFC 156 but Sakara was forced out due to health issues. Although he has been out of action for almost 18 months, Voelker will be entering his UFC debut riding a three fight win streak. He also took part in the first ever Strikeforce trilogy when he defeated Roger Bowling via unanimous decision back in 2011. Now he will get an opportunity to test his skills...
